Winter continues with so much ice! Thankfully, heading down to Grand Forks for the ND convention we were able to avoid most of the ice and get their before I-29 was closed. Again.
While packing up boxes for the ND Convention, I realized that I've hit the 20 book mark. It's hard to believe that it's been that long since I published my first book back in 2014!
I always enjoy attending these events and getting to catch up with the other vendors, meet new people, and connect with old friends and readers.
This year, my dad and I had the opportunity to tag-team a session at the convention. It was our first time speaking together, and I'm still excited about the opportunity we had!
I don’t know if you’ll ever be on the lookout for a great cover-design-artist for a reasonable price… but I had the privilege of meeting the very talented Hannah Grace this week!!! In addition to her phenomenal pricing and quality work, she uses her art to glorify God, and I was encouraged by our chat. If you’re ever going to be looking for help in this area… save her information and check out her website!
Then, there is always a question at these conventions. "What is your next book?" I haven't officially done my whole announcement yet, because I don't have a date, but sometime this spring, maybe in May? I'll be publishing Prisoner One-Eight-Six with Elk Lake Publishing Inc. in Boston!
Prisoner One-Eight-Six is another YA suspense thriller that I've been working on for some time. Right now, it's in the editing stages, and I'm working with the publishing house to get it properly polished before publication. I can't wait to share more on this project later!
I'm also actively working on finishing up a rough draft for the next Christmas book, Fatal Fraud and Fruitcake, as well as editing book four in the Ty Carson Series, Ransom at Graveyard Bend.
