Camp Life

My adorable niece who always wants to steal my hat and name tag. ;)

And what is camp without some good nine-square?

Then, there’s the high-ropes course. I developed a fear of heights after a few falls in my later childhood, so facing my fear wasn’t easy, but it felt great when I was done!

And when your instructions are written on a board, you know it’s a great worksite!

Niagara Falls

Less than 2 weeks after being at the Grand Canyon, I had the opportunity to visit Niagara Falls and take the Maiden of the Midst boat ride at the base of the falls.
I couldn’t take pictures too close because it was to wet, but it truly was incredible! Definitely my favorite part of the falls.

We also visited Old Fort Niagara and got to watch a musket demonstration with a hilarious guide!

And on the way back to camp, we ate at a Rock Burgers. The home of the stuffed burger. This guy was on the food network with a competition, Guy’s Grocery Games, and the food was incredible! Totally recommend!!!! You can stuff your burger with anything from macaroni and cheese, to bacon, to Oreos and so much more!

And they had Ranch fries!!

New York!

My original plans for this summer included a missions trip to Honduras, and no camp, but long story later, God changed my plans and I headed to NY for a summer of ministry!
