In an average week, I do too many things to properly highlight, so here are just a few of the things from last week…
We did a bunch of babysitting, so I pulled out the old Masterpiece game that my mom got as a kid, and taught some of the kids how to be wealthy art buyers!
I think most of the art I can identify by its’ title and painter, I learned from playing this game as a kid.
Then, on a Sunday afternoon drive on the way home from church, doesn’t everybody take the family car cross-country on a freshly chopped corn field?
Apparently, if Mom needs a picture in the field, we all get the experience!
While babysitting, I worked on a children’s book, and got to read my rough draft to some willing Guinea pigs! More on that book will be coming later…
And at the coffee shop where I work, we’re pulling out all the new Christmas merchandise, and I’m loving it all! Especially the tiny coffee cup ornaments!
I think we might be one of the only coffee shops in the state who have a real Caribou mounted on our wall! His name is Scott. :)
And sampling the holiday treats, like this chocolate truffle brownie, or the minty mochas make my job super fun this time of year!
