More Game Time!

I’ve been babysitting again this week, and got out another old game I grew up playing!

Pilgrim’s Progress is such a great board game because there are so many real life applications!

Then I did a corn maze Christmas vendor table in Thief River Falls last weekend, and really enjoyed connecting with people.

I’ve been working pretty intensively on three writing projects this week, and can’t wait to finish so I can share!

Lots of Things!

In an average week, I do too many things to properly highlight, so here are just a few of the things from last week…

We did a bunch of babysitting, so I pulled out the old Masterpiece game that my mom got as a kid, and taught some of the kids how to be wealthy art buyers!

I think most of the art I can identify by its’ title and painter, I learned from playing this game as a kid.

Then, on a Sunday afternoon drive on the way home from church, doesn’t everybody take the family car cross-country on a freshly chopped corn field?

Apparently, if Mom needs a picture in the field, we all get the experience!

While babysitting, I worked on a children’s book, and got to read my rough draft to some willing Guinea pigs! More on that book will be coming later…

And at the coffee shop where I work, we’re pulling out all the new Christmas merchandise, and I’m loving it all! Especially the tiny coffee cup ornaments!

I think we might be one of the only coffee shops in the state who have a real Caribou mounted on our wall! His name is Scott. :)

And sampling the holiday treats, like this chocolate truffle brownie, or the minty mochas make my job super fun this time of year!

#ThrowbackThursday

So these are in the wrong order, but in recent news, the northern lights have been hopping lately!

And we’ve had a bunch of kids around lately, so we did a sparkler evening!

And why not host a birthday party for 15 little nieces?!?!

And there are MANY uses for office supplies!
Don’t have a hair-tie or pins? Use a pencil! Need a little extra intimidation? A pen under the nose might work…🤷🏼‍♀️🫣 and  a good office scissor and tape can create an epic camp game!  #ThrowbackThursday

Best Boss Ever!!!

There’s nothing quite like looking out the window and seeing your parents walking hand in hand. The neighbor was burning his field, and being good midwestern-neighbors, we watched the excitement.

If you happen to see one of these flyers around town, go buy your tickets! I’ll be performing again this year and like last year, I’m having a lot of fun in the bell choir! I’d love to see you there!

Then, my awesome boss. Not everyone has a boss who calls them into work after hours to redecorate and stock the new launch, then surprises everyone with a party spread!

I may be biased… as my boss is also my aunt… but I’m pretty sure I have the best boss ever!
